Where is Home?
My Women’s collection is inspired by Persian art and culture.
It’s about my homeland.
Persian art is full of love, passion, color, and symbolism!
There is a wide spectrum in Persian art and Therefore, I chose a few smaller fractions of it as my main focus, (Persian carpet, Ceramics & Painting).
I introduce my character as a strong, bold woman, boss lady, and hard worker. She works a lot and because of that ‘Work uniform’ is my second inspiration.
The definition of ‘Uniform’ is being united for a specific goal and it’s telling a message, this message in my Collection is about being united with my art and culture. It’s about creating home away from home. And since she has a lot to do and 2hands are not enough, and we need more hands and more help, I used so many sleeves on my outfits.
I especially got inspired by Persian carpets, I’m quite obsessed with them and I feel they’re magical and it’s a unique symbol for the Iranian lifestyle and it feels like home to me too!
People who were designing and creating these carpets believed that God created this World with all its beauties and they wanted to create their own world through the carpet.
Each element in Persian Carpet is a symbol of something greater, beautiful, and protection in life.
Each carpet is telling a story and this is my story!
